     In February 2016, taxpayers showed overwhelming support for the school district with 80% approval of a $21 million bond referendum.  Construction will begin early 2017.  

     

    Anderson Elementary (PreK, 3-5):

     

    3rd Grade Reading: 90% proficient

      

    4th Grade Science: 90% proficient  
     
    High School:
     
    10th Grade Reading:  96% proficient 
     
    10th Grade Science:  93% proficient 
     
    The High School Student Council was awarded the Iowa Association of Student Councils Honor Council Award
     
     
    Morris Elementary (K-2):
     
    550 students and their families attended the first annual Family Literacy Night
     
    70 men joined WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dad's Of Great Students), and provided their presence in the school in numerous ways.
     
     
    Middle School:
    In October 2015, Chad Carlson was awarded Administrator of the Year at the Iowa Student Leadership Conference.
     
    Jennifer Turner, Guidance Counselor, was honored as Iowa Associate of Student Council's Middle School Advisor of the year
     
    Power Hour, the after school homework program, experienced a successful first year.  Late and missing work decreased, while academic learning and grades improved for students.
