Chris Bieghler serves as the Director of Technology where he is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all areas of technology. He directs and provides leadership for information technology functions including user technical support, vendor relationships, data center/server administration, application development, classroom integration, network management/support, project management and budget development. Mr. Bieghler also coordinates technology planning and collaboration with technology and district stakeholders.
Mr. Bieghler was selected for this role with Bondurant-Farrar Schools in the summer of 2017. Prior to this position, he served as an Education Program Consultant (Bureau of Information & Analysis) with the Iowa Department of Education from 2015-2017. To begin his career, Mr. Bieghler was the Supervisor of Technology for the Newton CSD from 2005-2015.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from Central College in 2001 and went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Dakota State University in 2011.
