Let's Chat, Bluejays! Join the Conversation

Let’s Chat, Bluejays! is an opportunity for families and community members to sit down with district leaders, ask questions, and talk through a variety of school-related topics.

Each 45-minute session focuses on a specific area of interest, followed by open conversation and Q&A. These meetings are held in person at the District Office, with a virtual option available for those who prefer to join remotely. Other dates/times are available upon request. Now Accepting K-12 Open Enrollment Applications

After 20 years of steady growth, student enrollment has slowed in recent years, especially in the lower grades. By allowing a limited number of open-enrolled students, the district can balance class sizes and ensure staffing and resources are used effectively across grade levels.
 
If you know a family who lives outside the district and may be interested in joining our school community, please feel free to share this information with them.
 

Key Dates & Deadlines:

Families who live outside the district are encouraged to apply early. Applications for grades 1–12 are due March 2, 2026. September 1, 2026 is the deadline to apply for kindergarten.

Preschool Lottery Applications Open Through February 27

The district is excited to welcome children ages 3 and 4 to preschool next school year! Our program focuses on helping students build social skills, adapt to classroom routines, and explore early learning through music, movement, pre-literacy, and math activities.

Applications are approved through a lottery system and due by February 27, 2026.

Registration: Key Dates for the 2026-27 School Year

Planning for the 2026–27 school year is underway. Mark your calendars with these key registration dates for next school year.

  • February 27: Preschool lottery applications due
  • March 2: Open enrollment applications due (for families living outside the district)
  • March 30: Kindergarten registration opens
  • June 2: Registration opens for new families to the district (families with no students currently enrolled)
  • July 1: Re-enrollment opens for returning students entering grades 1–12

School Calendar Updates & Reminders

This is a reminder that Monday, January 19, is a professional development day for staff. There will be no school for students on this day.

Families are encouraged to reference the 2025–26 school calendar for important dates, including breaks, early dismissals, and scheduled no-school days. For those planning ahead, the 2026–27 school calendar has been approved and is also available.
