Introducing Harvest Crossing Elementary

The Bondurant-Farrar Board of Education has officially approved Harvest Crossing Elementary as the name of our new elementary school. Thank you to the many community members who shared feedback throughout the naming process and helped shape this important decision. Be sure to watch the reveal video as our Bluejay mascot helps announce the winning name and celebrate this exciting addition to our district.

New Student Registration Now Open

Do you know a family new to Bondurant-Farrar? Registration for new students for the 2026-27 school year is now open. We're excited to welcome new Bluejays to our school community. New families can complete the online registration process through the link below or contact our district registrar for assistance. Returning student re-enrollment will open July 1.

Ever Wanted to Drive a School Bus? Join Us on June 20

Bondurant-Farrar is hiring bus drivers for the 2026-27 school year and inviting community members to get behind the wheel during our Bus Driver Test Drive Event on Saturday, June 20, from 8-10 a.m. at Bondurant-Farrar Junior High.

Participants will have the opportunity to test drive a school bus with guidance from a certified driver, learn about district-provided training and licensing support, and explore the benefits of a career in student transportation. No experience is necessary—just bring a valid driver's license and a willingness to give it a try.

Staffing Updates for the 2026-27 School Year

The district has announced several staffing updates for next school year, including the appointment of Kevin VanderLinden as principal of Morris Elementary, student support transitions, expanded support for student activities, and a new School Resource Officer assignment. Community Night at the Ballpark: Free Admission on June 24

Join us for an evening of Bluejay baseball and softball as we celebrate our new athletic complex and thank our community for its continued support of our students and programs.

Admission will be free for all attendees, and complimentary popcorn will be available while supplies last. Games begin at 5:00, 5:30, and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 at Bondurant-Farrar High School.

Whether you're cheering on our teams, seeing the new facilities for the first time, or simply enjoying a summer evening with friends and neighbors, we hope you'll join us.

Summer Parking & Traffic Updates for the New Complex

A summer parking expansion project is underway between the junior high and high school to help support daily parking needs and improve access to the activities complex. During construction, visitors attending baseball and softball events are asked to review the updated parking and traffic flow map before arriving. The map includes designated parking areas, drop-off locations, and traffic routes to help ensure safe access to the new fields.

Save the Date: Support Staff Job Fair on July 9

Bondurant-Farrar is seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our team. Save the date for our Support Staff Job Fair on Thursday, July 9, with sessions available from 9 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about positions such as paraeducators, bus drivers, and food service staff. Additional details will be shared soon.

Summer Office Hours: We're Here to Help

School and district offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the summer. If you're planning to visit, we encourage you to call ahead to ensure the appropriate staff member is available to assist you. Friday morning appointments are available by request, with the exception of July 3, when offices will be closed. Summer office hours will remain in effect through August 7, with regular office hours resuming on August 10.
