The Bondurant Historical Society is hosting a number of programming events. Each presentation is at 6:00PM at the Bondurant Community Library

Bondurant-Farrar teams, coaches, and players organize a variety of Bluejay Camps and Clinics throughout the year for students of all ages. These school-affiliated events offer young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, learn from experienced coaches, and engage with teammates in a fun and supportive environment.

Raised At Full Draw (RAFD) is a nonprofit offering a 4-day youth archery and bowhunting summer camp in Winterset, Iowa, from June 4-7, 2026. Open to boys and girls ages 12–17, the camp provides a safe, structured environment for students to develop archery skills, hunting safety, outdoor survival techniques, and ethical outdoor practices.

The Simpson College Men’s & Women’s Coaching Staff and players are excited to offer a variety of camps this spring and summer! Our camps are available for both girls and boys ages K-9th grade. Our camps provide expert coaching, skill development, and competitive play for all levels, fostering growth and a love for basketball. Linked below is our website. This summer, CAP Theater of Altoona is offering four weeks of camps throughout July, including musical theatre, dance intensives, filmmaking, and behind-the-scenes technical experiences. Led by passionate, award-winning instructors, CAP camps are the perfect place for kids to build confidence, get creative, and have an unforgettable summer.

  • When: June 13-16
  • Where: Wartburg College
  • Why: To learn technique, wrestle in duals, and team bonding, plus it's FUN!!
  • Who: Girls in grade 9- 12 (for the 2026-27 school year) who plan on wrestling next season
  • Cost: $375 each unless we get 12 or more girls going then it would be $355 each

Academic enrichment opportunities

Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides academic enrichment programs to advanced learners in grades 1 - 11.  This summer MITY is offering over 100 unique classes in STEM, humanities and the fine arts, all taught by experienced educators.  Small class sizes, field trips and a focus on experiential learning empowers students to pursue their passions with peers from around the world who share their interests.
