Bondurant-Farrar is accepting a limited number of open enrollment applications for the 2026-27 school year.
Each year, the district carefully reviews enrollment, staffing, and available classroom space to ensure students receive a high-quality educational experience. For the upcoming school year, the district anticipates accepting approximately 20–40 open enrolled students districtwide. Families are encouraged to apply early, as availability varies by grade level.
By offering a limited number of open enrollment opportunities, the district is able to:
- Maintain balanced class sizes
- Ensure appropriate staffing and resources
- Support strong learning environments for students
Open enrollment openings may be offered when:
- Space is available at a grade level
- Programs can support additional students
- Class sizes can remain reasonable
Open enrollment availability will be reassessed annually based on overall student enrollment, building capacity, and programming needs.
Students who require specialized programming, including but not limited to, special education and at-risk services, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the district has the capacity to meet student needs, in accordance with Board Policy 501.15.
