Education foundations exist to support schools, usually public, to generate private financial support to help with a range of activities and specific needs, including student scholarships, classroom grants, camps, clubs, equipment, teacher resources, and more.

The Elementary PTO works to enhance the learning experience for PK-6 students by supporting programs, activities, and resources that create a positive and engaging school environment. Through community events, volunteer efforts, and fundraising, the PTO helps strengthen connections between families and staff to benefit all students.

The Fine Arts Booster Club is dedicated to enhancing the artistic journeys of 7-12 students involved in band, art, choir, speech, and drama. By providing support through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community events, we strive to promote creativity and ensure all students have access to a strong fine arts education.

Our Parent Advisory Committees bring together parents, guardians, and building principals to collaborate on school initiatives and provide valuable feedback. Through regular meetings, these committees create a strong partnership between families and schools, helping to shape an educational experience that benefits all students.

Our Safe, Supportive, and Equitable Schools Committee, composed of staff and community members, meets monthly to identify district needs and foster an inclusive environment for all students.

Additionally, formed in April 2024, a subcommittee of this group is focusing on bullying prevention and conflict resolution, aiming to establish consistent language across schools and ensure that student perspectives are integral to the decision-making process.

Our school board holds public meetings twice per month, welcoming community involvement to help strengthen our school system. These meetings are an opportunity to stay informed and engaged as board members discuss topics like student learning, curriculum, facilities, finances, and staffing. Hosted by district leadership twice a year, the School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) brings together parents, teachers, school board members, and community members to address our district's educational needs. This committee reviews key student learning goals and state indicators in reading, math, and science to provide informed recommendations for the school board, supporting ongoing improvement and student success.
