Ensuring Contact Information is Accurate

  • The Bondurant-Farrar Community School District utilizes the Infinite Campus notification system to distribute emergency alerts and district communications via phone, email, and text. This system uses contact information input by parents and guardians during the annual registration process. It is important that contact information is up-to-date so that timely information can be distributed to parents and guardians.

    • Please follow the directions below to verify that contact information is correct and indicate which types of messages should be directed to each phone or email address.
    • If you are not receiving text message notifications of closings or delays, it is possible that you did not opt-in to receive text messages during online registration in Infinite Campus. This can be completed through the instructions below or by contacting your child's building secretary.

Editing Contact Preferences

  • Message types are indicated in the image below. At the district level, the most common types of messages used are General Notifications, Priority Notifications, and Emergency. Due to the nature of these types of messages, we'd like to ensure all families are quickly notified in the event of a weather cancellation, delay, or school emergency. We recommend that you receive Emergency, General, and Priority Notifications via voice and text.

    DIRECTIONS: 

    1. To begin, please sign into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.
      • From the User Menu, select Settings, then select Contact Preferences. (See image below.)
    2. Verify Contact Information
      • Review existing contact information (phone numbers and email addresses). If your contact information is incorrect, please connect with your building administrative assistant.
    3. Indicate which types of messages should be directed to each phone or email address.
      • Please Note: Recommended selections are Emergency, General, and Priority.
