Reception Honoring Retiring Board Member

Headshot of Mr. Looft The public is invited to honor the service of Mr. Tom Looft, retiring member of the Bondurant-Farrar Board of Education, in a community reception hosted by the district on November 25. 

 

 

Mr. Looft joined the B-F Board of Education in the fall of 2011, and will participate in his final meeting on November 25, 2019. Looft was elected to serve two consecutive 4-year terms on the Board of Education. His 30 years of prior experience as an educator and coach within the district provided him a unique and valuable perspective as a school board member. 

 

 

Throughout his tenure on the district’s Board of Education, Looft was involved in several significant projects, including the opening of Morris Elementary, the hiring of a new superintendent, and the passage of the 2016 bond referendum which allowed for recent additions at the high school and Morris Elementary. 

 

 

The public is invited to stop by to extend appreciation for Mr. Looft’s contributions to the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District during a reception on November 25, 2019 from 4:30-5 p.m. at the Middle School Library, located at 300 Garfield Street SW in Bondurant. Guests are asked to enter on the east side of the building, at the District Office entrance (door #3013).
