The district is asking for everyone’s assistance in addressing a growing problem we are seeing regarding the no parking/fire lanes on our campuses, especially at the high school.
The fire lanes, designated with red-painted curbs, at the high school’s front circular driveway is an area that continues to have vehicles wrongfully parked. This area is designed for occupied vehicles waiting to pick up someone, and violators may be ticketed or towed. You should never park and vacate your vehicle in a posted fire lane; there are visitor and handicap spots available for this purpose. It is very important that fire lanes are kept clear at all times, including evenings and weekends, to ensure safe access for emergency vehicles.
