Upcoming Road Closures

The district was recently informed of upcoming road closures related to roadway improvements near the Project Bluejay-Amazon site. While closures primarily impact one specific portion of the district, we would like to provide this information to our entire school community so that everyone is aware. 

• The first road closure will begin on Monday, March 2 and will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. Starting Monday, 32nd Street SW will close to through traffic west of Grant Street S, and access to the Wolf Creek Development will be maintained from Highway 65. For details, see map #1.

• Additionally, from March 16 through April 19, the entire intersection of 32nd Street SW and Grant Street S will be closed. For details, see map #2.

Closures will detour up to two of the district’s bus routes, the RED and potentially GOLD routes. Pickup and dropoff times may be impacted as a result. If necessary, our transportation department will communicate those changes directly with families impacted.
