The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation and Cookies Barbeque recently announced the selection of Kristin Swift as an Iowan of the Day for the 2022 Iowa State Fair.
Swift has been an active volunteer in the Bondurant community for over 20 years. She dedicates countless hours to our school community through her work on the Bondurant-Farrar Board of Education, where she currently serves as president and is a board representative for a number of superintendent advisory committees.
Additionally, Swift is an active member of several other school-affiliated volunteer organizations, including the fine arts and athletics booster clubs as well as the education foundation. Having served in a multitude of volunteer roles, Swift has created strong, trusted relationships between the school board and community members throughout our district throughout her many years of service.
Swift, one of ten individuals selected, will be honored as the Iowan of the Day on Thursday, August 11 at the 2022 Iowa State Fair. She will be recognized with a presentation on the Anne & Bill Riley stage at 12:00 PM.
