As many are aware, our high school boys’ basketball team has advanced to the state tournament and will begin play on March 7, 2023 at 2:00pm. To accommodate the many students and staff wishing to attend this event, Bondurant-Farrar will dismiss all K-12 classes at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 7. Lunch will be served and dismissal times will vary slightly by building. Principals will provide additional details. There will be no afternoon preschool.
- For information for spectators regarding the purchasing of tickets, parking, streaming options, and schedules/pairings, please visit the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s website.
- Spectators planning to attend must comply with Wells Fargo Arena’s clear bag policy.
- There will NOT be a student pep bus.
IF THE TEAM WINS ON MARCH 7:
If we win on Tuesday, March 7, the team will play again on Thursday, March 9 at 2:00 pm. K-12 classes will again be dismissed at 12:30 pm (no afternoon preschool) on March 9 to allow students and staff to attend. A Thursday early dismissal would result in conferences scheduled for later that day to be rescheduled for Monday, March 20. Building principals will provide additional details.
In the event we do not play on March 9, school and conferences will proceed as scheduled.

It has been 17 years since the Bondurant-Farrar boys’ team advanced to the state tournament. Bluejay fans always have one of the best fan followings to support all of their teams.
