With the playground addition at the intermediate school, we anticipate children and families to continue utilizing these spaces throughout the summer months, similar to the playgrounds at Anderson and Morris. As a safety precaution, the road that circles behind the intermediate school will be closed to vehicles, including baseball and softball traffic, throughout the summer.
Residents and visitors are asked to reference the map below to help navigate the area.
It’s important to note that playground areas to the west of the road closer (basketball court and gaga ball pits) will not be available for use during softball competition to avoid distraction to participants. The playground areas to the east of the road closure will be open for use.
We understand this closure will cause inconveniences, and we kindly ask for your understanding and support in prioritizing the safety of our children and patrons who may be utilizing these areas.
