The new elementary will open with 16-20 classrooms, depending on funds, allowing kindergarten and preschool classrooms to move from Morris to this new site. This shift would relieve future capacity strains at both Morris Elementary and Anderson Elementary, freeing up about 16 classrooms across the two schools.
If our growth continues as projected, the new capacity created by another school would last a minimum of 8-10 years at the elementary level.
