students and families arriving to school at the Garfield campusSuperintendent Rich Powers is hosting a series of events that provide an opportunity for community members to learn about district initiatives and programs, share ideas, and ask questions.

1000 Grant Street N., Bondurant
*Enter at the main entrance, located on the south side of the building, near the flagpole.

Topic for this event:
According to 2020 Census data, Bondurant’s population percent increase of 90.8% since 2010 which is the largest increase in Polk County and the second largest increase in the State of Iowa. This growth has naturally had a direct impact on our student enrollment and the need for additional classroom space. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the district’s long-term planning process and our proactive approach to ensure we are best prepared to accommodate this rapid growth.

Whether you have a specific question or idea regarding managing our growth, or simply want to hear more about the district’s biggest priorities and related challenges, please consider joining us for this community event.
