  • In an effort to be transparent in how COVID-19 is impacting our district, we plan to share as much information as possible while protecting the privacy of those affected. Look to this webpage for updates regarding active positive cases for students and staff that were in attendance in the district, as well as the number of those currently quarantining due to close contact that may have occurred inside or outside of school. Our goal is to update this data weekly on Wednesdays, and we hope you find it to be both helpful and informative. The format may evolve over time to best describe our district conditions.

  • Conditions Matrix

To better guide conversations regarding the appropriate learning model, the district created a school conditions matrix that replaces the school closure matrix. This matrix utilizes data from each of our buildings to determine the level of school impact as well as data from our county and zip code to determine community transmission. Anytime a category changes there will be additional research and conversations to determine the appropriate learning model for the current conditions. In addition, should the State of Iowa issue new proclamations or declarations regarding school operations those orders will be followed.
