Bluejay Beginnings Preschool

  • Thank you for your interest in the Bluejay Beginnings Preschool Program, part of the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District. This program is available to families that have children between the ages of 3 and 4. The preschool program is intended for all children, regardless of background or disability. The program allows students the opportunity to interact with peers to build positive social skills, experience routines and classroom structure, explore learning through music and movement, and develop pre-literacy and math skills, all in an early childhood classroom.

The 2018-19 Bluejay Beginnings Preschool Program starts on Thursday, August 30, 2018.

The 4-year-old program is funded by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program which means there is no cost to families.  Families of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are asked to contact the school for information regarding special education services.

For the 3-year-old program, a monthly tuition (Sept.-May) of $150 is due at first of each month. To make an online payment, please use the RevTrak link, under the Parents & Students section, at the top of this page.

We are happy to announce that tuition assistance is available for our 3-year old program, to all families who qualify under the state income guidelines. Tuition assistance is made possible through the financial support of Polk County (ECI) Early Childhood Iowa. Tuition assistance applications are available during registration. Questions? Please contact the District Office at 515-967-7819.
