Results from November 7 Election

Yesterday, November 7, voters went to the polls to weigh in on Bondurant-Farrar’s bond referendum and school board elections. 

Unofficial results from the Iowa Secretary of State are listed below and available online. Please note that these results are considered unofficial until certified, which can take up to a week.

  • Bond Referendum: A super majority (60% +1) was needed for passage. The $48 million bond referendum passed with 84.9% voter approval, allowing the district to proceed with construction of a high school addition, new elementary building, and additional activities spaces.  

  • School Board: Four seats were on the ballot - three seats for the full four-year term and one seat with two years of service remaining. The following individuals will be sworn into office on November 20, 2023:

    • Patrick Meyer, term expires 2025 
    • Stacia Sanny, term expires 2027 
    • Laurel Swanson, term expires 2027 
    • Kayla Vandehaar, term expires 2027
