    As the counselors begin receiving scholarships for the 2021 seniors, we will update this page with the information and links to the applications. We will communicate when new scholarships are added through email. Please contact the office or your student's counselor with questions. 


    Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - $1000 A&F Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post-secondary institution. Please click here for more information.


    ACACIA Leadership Scholarship - Outstanding high school senior who has demonstrated thier ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular,  school activities, and communilty involvement.  This scholarship is available to any male, graduating senior from an accredited high school who attends Iowa State University.   Click here for details and application.     Beta Sigma Psi Scholarships - Click Here to see scholarships available for men attending Iowa State in the Fall of 2021.  Scholarship deadlines are: January 5, 2021, March 20, 2021, and July 1, 2021


    Bright Scholars of Iowa Award - Bright Scholars of Iowa is awarding students scholarships who are accepted to one of the three state universities (Iowa State, Iowa, UNI) or these community colleges (Indian Hills, Southwestern Iowa). Please for more click here information.


    Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship - Each year the Iowa Games awards the Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship of $1000 to one male and one female Iowan who have been involved in Iowa Games events in their lifetime. Applicants must be juniors or seniors during the 2020-2021 school year. Applications for the scholarship are due April 5, 2021, and awarded shortly after.     Catherine McAuley Scholarship at Mount Mercy -  Free tuition to Iowa students whose family income is $50,000 or less annually.  This scholarship is renewable for all four years at Mount Mercy.  Click here for more information.  


    Central Iowa Mensa Education & Research Foundation's Local Scholarship -  Eligibility requirements are that the applicant will be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited American institution of post-secondary education in the 2021-2022 academic year, and that the applicant is a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States. Awards will be made on the basis of an essay of fewer than 550 words, which describes the applicant's career, vocational, or academic goal toward which the scholarship is to provide aid.  Entries will be judged and awarded at three levels: local, regional, and national. Awards are made in amounts ranging from $500 to $2,500.  All entries must be submitted online by January 15, 2021.  Please click here for more information


    Christina Hixson Opportunity Awards - This is a grant of $18,000 to be used at Iowa State University.  One hundred high school seniors from across Iowa will receive the award each year, representing each county in the state.  If you are a high school senior who demonstrates potential in ways that go beyond class rankings and test scores, you may wish to apply.  Click here for the online applicaation process.  Deadline has been extended to January 1, 2021.


    First Friday Breakfast Club Scholarship - FFBC awards scholarships to graduationg Iowa high school seniors committed to reducing homophobia and increasing awareness and tolerance of lsbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues in their high schools and communities.  Awards will be made in the amount of $3,000 per student.  Seven awards will be available.  Please click here for more information and application.  Application due March 16, 2021


    Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarships - Sixty scholarships to high school seniors who graduate for a public school in Iowa.  Application must be postmaked by February 1,  2021.  Plelase click here for more information.


    High School Super Senior ScholarshipThe Course Hero High School Senior Scholarship is designed to assist high school seniors in transitioning successfully into the next chapter in their academic careers. The scholarship will be available only to high school seniors graduating in 2021. Click here for more information and to apply *Deadline December 19, 2020


    Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation for Education Scholorship:  The Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation for Education is accepting applications for $2,500 scholarships that will be awarded to students pursuing careers in the auto industry.  Please click here to apply online.  Applications are due by 5pm on March 1st, 2021.


    Iowa Engineering Society Central Iowa Chapter Scholorship  - The amount of the scholarship is $500 - $1000.  As funds are available, additional scholarships may be awarded.  The scholarships are awarded only to U.S. citizens who are residents of Iowa and who will be attending the College of Engineering at either Iowa State University or the University of Iowa's College of Engineering.  Please click here for more information and scholarship application.   Scholarship application form due no later than 2/24/2021.  


    Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is proud to support the Health Care Careers Scholarship program through its subsidiary, the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF). In 2021, we will award 60 scholarships of up to $7,000 ($3,500 per year for up to two years) and $1,000 to the Emergency Medical Technology/Technician Certification Program. IHERF has supported higher education for more than 500 Iowa college students since 2004. Please click here for more information.


    Iowa PGA Charlie Burkart Scholarship - This scholarship is for one high school graduate with an interest and activity in golf.  It is $1,500 per year for four years at a t college or university of your choice.   Click here for information and click here for application.  Application must be mailed by June 18, 2021.


    Iowa Scholarship for the Arts - $1,500 scholarship for Iowa high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing an arts-related major at an Iowa college or university.  Click here for more info and application.   Deadline is April 1, 2021.


    Iowa Student Loan - Iowa Student Loan will be giving 30 students $2000 to use for college/university expenses. Students will register and complete the rules before February 21, 2021. Please click here for more information. 

    Landus Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship - Available for high school seniors pursuing a career in agriculture, life sciences, or an ag-related field.  Five $2,000 scholarships available for any accredited post secondary program.  Please click here for application and reuirements.  Applications must be postmarked or submitted by Feb. 26, 2021.


    Karsyn's Krusaders / Jessica Miller Memorial Scholarship - For the second consecutive year they will be awarding five $1,000.00 scholarships to any graduating senior that either has/had cancer or a sibling of someone that had cancer.  Please click here for more information and application.  Submissions are due April 11, 2021.


    Kit Williamson Memorial Scholarship Fund - Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 490 will offer two $1,000 college scholarships to assist Vietnam Era Veteran family members with the costs associated with undergarduate studies at accredited educational or technical institutions.  Please click here for more information and application.


    Live to Give - The purpose of Live to Give Scholarship is to encourage continued post-secondary education and continued service through mentoring/volunteerism. Please click here for more information. Application deadline is April 7, 2021.


    New Century FS Scholarship - New Century FS is offering 5 $1500 scholarships to customers, members or employees of New Century FS interested in pursuing a career in agriculture or agribusiness. Please click here for more information.


    Mary E. Woods Scholarship and Larry W. Carter Scholarship - These two scholarships are for African-American students seeking higher education.  Please click on the scholarship for more information and application:  Mary E. Woods Scholarship and Larry W. Carter Scholarship   

    The deadline for both scholarship applications is May 1, 2021.

    Mediacom World Class Scholarship - $1000.00 scholarships to winning applicanats.  Please click here for application and information.  Mail all application materials postmarked on or before February 15th, 2021.  


    Optimist International Scholarship - This is a $2,500.00 scholarshiip.  Please click here for more information.  Essay must be submitted by email  to by early February.  

    Paragon IT Group - The IT Leadership Forum Technology Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to Iowa high school seniors who have been involved in technology classes or clubs and plan to pursue a technology-related degree at an Iowa college, university or community college.     Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship - Awarded to full-time students of Protestant faith who are residents of Iowa.  Finaancial need is considered.  This scholarship may be renewed.  Please click here for more information. 


    PeopleService Alan Meyer Memorial Scholorship - PeopleService is the leading water and wastewater management and operations company in the Midwest. This is a scholarship for $6,000 for earning an associate's degree from an accredited college or $3,000 for earning a 1-year diploma from an accredited college.  Application deadline is  March 16.  Please click here for more information.
